On a silent dawn, Tomás watches, disturbed, as a gun sinks into a river. Beside him, Miguel, his accomplice, smokes calmly, both marked by the weight of a fatal decision. Through flashbacks, we witness Tomás’s difficult childhood, marked by isolation and bullying, and Miguel’s intervention to defend him. This bond of friendship, born out of pain, has now led them into a dangerous entanglement with the criminal underworld.

The plot unfolds through tense sequences, where Tomás, devastated by an accidental homicide, questions the choices that brought him to this moment. Miguel, always by his side, tries to stay composed as they face the violent consequences of their actions. The tension builds as they become involved in perilous missions for their boss, confronting moral dilemmas and the burden of a dark past.

Their interactions, filled with unsettling silences and heavy dialogues, lead to an inevitable ending, where blood and wrong choices seem to dictate their fates.
 

"OS SINOS TOCAM À MEIA NOITE" is a story about friendship, guilt, and the dark path carved by bad decisions, in a world where violence and remorse coexist inescapably.
